Customer and Employee Portal Website
KDG developed an education and training portal site that consists of a public area, a password protected customer section and another password protected employee section. The public site area contains general information and also offers a registration form for customers who would like to access more advanced training material.
Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center
KDG developed a stand-alone online education program for the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center transplant department. Upon entering the program the learner is presented with an overview of the normal digestive system. After learning about the normal digestive system, the learner is ready to explore the transplant organs which include the kidneys, liver and pancreas.
Atritech WATCHMAN Implant Procedure Simulation
Atritech Watchman Simulation was created to educate sales representatives and customers on how to implant the Watchman device into the left atrial appendage (LAA). Three case studies were developed utilizing 3 real patient implant data. Two versions of the simulation were created,a Flash walk through version and a real-time gaming version.
Alberta Education: Samual Steele
Online Interactive Museum
KDG supported Alberta Education by developing an interactive and multimedia rich online DLR. This DLR helps impart a deeper understanding and appreciation of how to build a museum exhibit and the people who make this happen. Combining virtual 3D environments and multimedia, the student as an avatar will visit a curator, an historian an an archivist, learning how each contribute to building an exhibit.
